Friday I went to Stammtisch and the UCB Symphony Orchestra (AMAZING). At Stammtisch, I met up with Ever and Kyle (cycling). The first hour was excruciatingly awk-ward. After summing up all our courage, Kyle and I got Bier cups for our own liquid courage.


I think I may be off my boycott. who knows. I'm just ready for some hopeless romanticism today!

Uprising

When I have the time, I like standing in front of the LCD wall tv always turned to CNN in CITRIS. Today I found myself engaged in conversation with two strangers, equally knowledgeable and aware of the revolution in Egypt. Later I introduced myself and discovered one was a professor and the other an electrician. Strange world, strange positions.Pretty neat.

I'd been following the updates on Egypt, but the video footage today struck me. 2 million protesters, with riots and fights breaking out, but they still pray together. A million people kneeling and praying together during a protest.
